TEANECK, N.J.. -- A 62-year-old man fell or jumped to his death from a second-floor window of a Teaneck garden apartment early Tuesday, responders said.
They couldn't immediately say for certain whether the 7 a.m. plunge was accidental or intentional.
"This is still an active investigation," Police Chief Glenn O'Reilly told Daily Voice.
Another responder told Daily Voice that the man recently had been depressed and struggling with addiction.
The Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Identification joined Teaneck police at the River Road apartment complex off Cedar Lane to gather evidence.
