Burress indicted in gun case
Former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress could be sentenced to anywhere from three and a half to 15 years in prison if convicted on charges of gun possession and reckless endangerment. Prosecutors in Manhattan and defense attorneys had been in intense discussions over a possible two-year prison deal, but talks broke down. Earlier this afternoon, authorities announced that an indictment had been returned.
