Police have confirmed that they arrested 19-year-old gang member Jahmell Crockam, charged with murder in the cold-blooded killing of Lakewood Police Officer Christopher Matlosz, in a Camden apartment around 6:30 a.m. today, thanks to tips from the public.
Fifteen officers and agents from the New Jersey State Police and the U.S. Marshal’s Service took Crockam into custody quietly after tipsters led them to the city housing project, Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford said.
Crockam, left, who police confirmed belongs to the Bloods street gang, is being held on $5 million cash bail. For more, go to: Slain Lakewood officer’s fiance speaks
