TEANECK, N.J. -- After resigning from her job last year, Teaneck's former prosecutor, Deborah Veach, wants her job back, saying she only resigned to save face, NorthJersey.com reports.

Veach, said in a letter, written by her attorney, that the township violated the state's law against discrimination because Teaneck didn't accommodate her medical disability, and instead opted to hire another attorney when she asked for time off to deal with back problems, NorthJersey.com says.

The former prosecutor also claims in the letter that the township shared her medical information with a new outlet instead of redacting the information, NorthJersey.com reports.

Township Manager William Broughton declined to comment on the letter, NorthJersey.com says.
