TEANECK, N.J. — Take a guided tour of the Terhune section of the Hackensack River Greenway on Sunday and you might spot a bald eagle.
Led by George Reskakis, the tour will discuss flora and fauna along the trail and the history of the area from Native American times to the present.
The Terhune train runs along the Eastern Flyway, where several birds may be seen — including bald eagles.Meet at the southern end of the trail on River Road, opposite Hillcrest Street. Street parking is on Hillcrest.Bring binoculars.
Reskakis is the past chair of Teaneck’s Park, Playgrounds and Recreation Advisory Board and is on the boards of the Friends of the Greenway and the Teaneck Creek Conservancy.
