Cyclone Watch: What You Need To Know About Jose's Impact In Bergen County

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. — With Hurricane Jose making its way north alongside the East Coast, the National Weather Service says hazardous weather is expected in parts of Bergen and Passaic counties beginning Monday.

The eye of Jose is expected to be about 120 miles southeast of Montauk Point on Long Island at 1 a.m. Wednesday.

A tropical storm watch was issued Sunday evening for parts of New York and Connecticut, but Jose's impact on New Jersey will be less severe, NWS said.

Monday: Wind and rain chances may increase overnight in advance of the storm.

Tuesday through Thursday: Strong, gusty winds and heavy rain possible, expected to decrease Thursday.
