RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- On Sunday, members of the THS (Teaneck High School) Animal Appreciation Club volunteered with Companion Animal Advocates (CAA) at the 10th Annual Adopt A Pet event, which was held at Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital on 320 E Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood.

Photo Credit: Teaneck High SchoolThe students helped three cats get adopted and distributed flyers for CAA’s upcoming event “Carnivale of the Dogs," which is scheduled for October 18. The students also helped raise $278 in donations, sold $90 worth of TV raffle tickets and set up eight new TD Bank Affinity Program sign-ups.
