Teaneck High School Magazine Seeks Entries For First Comic Book Contest

TEANECK, N.J. -- Teaneck High School’s literary magazine, "The Looking Glass," is accepting submissions for its first-ever comic book contest.

Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk, written by Teaneck High School alumus Damon Lindelof, will be grand prize for The Looking Glass comic book contest.

"The Looking Glass" — an award-winning magazine — is designed, edited, and published by the students of Teaneck High School.

Contestants will compete for a monthly prize for literature.

To enter, authors must submit 8 to 12 illustrated pages, written either collaboratively or by one artist. Themes and images must be appropriate for the Teaneck High School community. Illustrated covers are optional.

The top three submissions will receive a $5 Facebook gift card, while the Grand Prize is a complete set of Marvel Comics’ Issues 1 to 6 of the Ultimate Wolverine vs. the Hulk, written by Teaneck High School graduate Damon Lindelof.

Submissions are to be made via email at THSPRISM@gmail.com, by a Jan. 29 deadline.
