Teaneck Blood Drive To Honor Deceased Ambulance Corps Members

TEANECK, N.J. -- The Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps' 21st annual blood drive Monday is being jointly conducted with Community Blood Services in memory of three deceased corps members.

The blood drive will honor former members Walt Pinches, a police captain who was an active member for more than 30 years, Rabbi Stanley Fisch, who also served as chaplain, and Bill Shambroom, a World War II Navy combat veteran who joined the corps at 64.

The blood drive is from 3-8 p.m. at the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 855 Windsor Road.

Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Chopstix Kosher Take-Out and Butterflake Bakery.
