ONLY ON CVP: A three-month rash of car burglaries in Bogota’s north end was cracked after a borough detective looked deeper into a person of interest stopped by his counterparts in Teaneck.
Rafael Sosa, 18, of North Brunswick was being questioned by Teaneck police when Bogota Detective Geoffrey Cole noticed that he looked like a man seen in business and home surveillance video from the area of the break-ins.
Before his investigation was through, Cole had Sosa in custody on charges involving no fewer than six car burglaries.
Sosa was being held on $30,000 cash bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with burglary and theft.
