: A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of an armed robber who hit a Hudson City Savings and Loan Bank on Queen Anne Road in Teaneck yesterday.
Police released surveillance photos today that they hope will jog people’s memories and maybe bring in the tip that cracks the case.
Contrary to another media report, the white robber entered the bank just after 2 o’clock, told a teller he had a gun, and “lifted his shirt to display the weapon which was tucked into his waist band,” Teaneck Detective Capt. Dean Kazinci said. “He gave the teller a bag to fill with money.”
He then turned around and walked back out the front door.
The official police description: “White male, 30 – 35 years of age, 5’6” to 5’8” in height, thin build, short hair, wearing an olive colored military style hat, dark black sunglasses, an olive colored tee shirt, and blue jeans.”
