Sebastian Sarria, 24, “accessed the doctor’s credit card processing system and voided patient-based credit card payments,” then “processed them through a cellphone/computer-based credit card application he had subscribed to in his own name,” Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

He then transferred the money to his own personal bank account and “used [it] for his own purposes,” Grewal said.

Detectives from his office and Mahwah police arrested Sarria on Thursday, the prosecutor said. He was charged with computer-related theft, theft by deception and fraudulent use of a credit card.

He was released on a summons pending a Nov 1 first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
