CLIFFVIEW PILOT HAS IT FIRST: Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office have charged the estranged husband of a Teaneck woman found stabbed to death Tuesday afternoon with murder.

The body of 23-year-old Shaday (Sade) Betancourt was found by a family member at her East Forest Avenue home just before 12:30 this afternoon, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli told CLIFFVIEW PILOT .
She was pronounced dead at Englewood Hospital soon after, he said.
As of 6:30 p.m., investigators had found Pedro Gutierrez, 24, of New Milford and were questioning him, a law enforcement source with direct knowledge of the murder told CLIFFVIEW PILOT . “They have him in pocket,” the source confirmed.
They charged him shortly thereafter, Molinelli confirmed.
Authorities aren’t sure whether Betancourt was stabbed with a knife or other sharp instrument. The Bergen County Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy.
