Scott J. McGuire, 42, was with Terri Ann Bridge-Holzman, 33, also of Clifton, when they were stopped on eastbound Route 46 by Narcotics Task Force detectives after the drug buy moments earlier, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

The detectives saw drug paraphernalia in plain view, obtained consent to search the car and found the crack, Grewal said.

McGuire – a graduate of Indian Hills High School in Oakland -- and Bridge-Holzman were arrested on drug charges and released without bail pending a May 31 first appearance in the Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
