TEANECK, N.J. — Walter Elijah Harris Jr., 90, of Teaneck, died Thursday, Sept. 22.
He was born June 22, 1926 in Palatka, Fla. to Jennie and Walter Harris Sr.
He graduated from Hastings Vocational Training School and later graduated from his dream university, Howard University with a major in psychology and minor in zoology. He was an active member of St. As and loved his church family.
He is survived by his wife, Adah; daughters, Jordan Blair and Keeko Jessamine; grandson, Landon Carter; and sister, Doris Blackshear.
