TEANECK, N.J. -- Russell Dizon, of Teaneck, died on Friday, July 1. He was 68.
Born in the Philippines, Dizon came to the United States in 1972, living in Queens before settling in New Jersey. He worked as VP of Sandcastle and worked at the New Horizon Deli in Fort Lee for 14 years.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia Bautista; children Therese Rosary Dizon and Joey Mac Dizon; siblings Roderick Dizon, Edenmay De Los Reyes, Evelyn Hsu, Jeline Reyes, Christopher Dizon, Celestial Bravo, Galahad Dizon and Galilea Wolf; several in-laws; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dizon was predeceased by his sister, Jennifer Dizon.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Service, 397 Union St., in Hackensack. The funeral will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Friday from the funeral home. The mass will be held at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 34 Maple Ave., in Hackensack. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, in Paramus.
