Teaneck Social Worker Charged With Filing False Medical Claims

TEANECK, N.J. — A Teaneck social services worker with a private practice has been charged with filing false Medicaid claims for three years beginning in 2012, NorthJersey.com reports.

The article says that 55-year-old Gloria Andrade billed Medicaid for overlapping services, claiming she provided counseling to multiple people on the same date, at the same time in different locations.

Andrade is facing a prison sentence of up to 17 years in state prison and thousands of dollars in fines, according to NorthJersey.com.
