The classes, which will be held at the social hall, will explore the impact of significant world events upon the Jewish people.
The topics discussed will include: The pogroms at the turn of the 20th century, emigration from Czarist Russia, Zionism, the First World War and its Aftermath, the Russian Revolution, the Rise of Nazi Germany, the British Mandate over Palestine, the Holocaust, the State of Israel, American Jewry, and the current situation facing world Jewry today.
Lectures will begin at 8p.m.
