Robinson graduated from Boston's Berklee College of Music and went on to become its youngest faculty member ever. While Robinson is best known for his saxophone play, he plays a variety other instruments as well -- including the sarrusophone and ophicleide.
Robinson has performed on over 200 LP and CD releases, with musicians including John Scofield, Ella Fitzgerald, Sting, Maria Schneider, Elton John and the New York City Opera. Two of these won Grammy Awards.
