TEANECK, N.J. — Local artist Ksenija Lea Kostic-Pecaric will have her paitings, collages and ceramics on display in the Teaneck Library's "Finding the True Way" exhibit.

For the past two years, Kostic-Pecaric has worked on a series done in mixed techniques and collages, which explore Biblical narratives and symbols.

These endeavors reflect her life's journey so far as well as her personal spiritual contemplations. She has explored clay as a medium of expression, creating one of a kind vessels.

Some are done on the wheel and some just formed by hand.

Kostic-Pecaric was born in the former Yugoslavia and grew up in an artistic family. She received her formal art education in Belgrade, Prague and Krakow.

In 2003, the artist received her Masters in Fine Art and Art Education from Art Institute at Pedagogical University of Krakow in Poland.

She holds a New Jersey Standard Certification for Art Education and is a member of Society of American Graphic Artists, National Association of Women Artist, Printmaking Center of New Jersey and Manhattan Graphic Center.

Kostic-Pecaric lives in Teaneck and teaches art at Yeshivat Noam in Paramus.
