Teaneck's Black Box Theater To Debut 'The Pillowman'

TEANECK, N.J. -- Black Box Studios proudly presents a new production of "The Pillowman," by award-winning Irish playwright Martin McDonagh.

The play is a dark comedy about the interrogation of a fiction writer, in an unnamed totalitarian state, whose gruesome Brothers Grimm-style short stories have eerie similarities to local horrific child murders. The play contains mature language and violence is depicted on stage that is not suitable for children under the age of 14.

"The Pillowman" will play a two-week engagement from April 7-17 at the Black Box Performing Arts Center, 200 Walraven Drive, Teaneck. Tickets are $18 ($15 students). Purchase tickets here or by calling 201-357-2221.
