Brother Bruno's is world-renowned for its dessert pizzas and Brownstone Pancake Factory for its over-the-top pancakes, breakfast foods and milkshakes.

Fares — who is sampling food from around the U.S. — also stopped into Buddy Valestro's Hoboken bakery and met with Hasbrouck Heights' Jason Biggs from "American Pie."
