Teaneck Recreation Department Organizes Spring Break Day Trips

TEANECK, N.J. -- The Teaneck Recreation Department is offing five spring break day trips for kids ages 6-13 starting on Monday, April 11.

  • The department will take a trip to the newly renovated Liberty Science Center on Monday, April 11. 
  • Kids can roll two games of bowling at Parkway Lanes in Elmwood Park on Tuesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 14. Campers will also get a slice of pizza and a soda for lunch.
  • Wednesday, April 13 will feature a trip to the Sterling Hill Mining Museum in Ogdensburg. The museum has underground Mine Tours, displays of "glow-in-the-dark" fluorescent minerals and 
  • The week ends with a trip to the Bronx Zoo on Friday, April 15.
Before Care and After Care will be offered at no additional charge. Before Care, starts at 8 a.m. and After Care, ends at 6 p.m. at the Richard Rodda Community Center, located at 250 Colonial Court.
