Teaneck Creek Conservancy Holds Weed Warrior Kick-Off Breakfast

TEANECK, N.J. -- The Teaneck Creek Conservancy’s Weed Warrior program’s mission is to train and enlist volunteers dedicated to the task of preventing and controlling the spread of invasive plant species within the park’s borders.

The Weed Warriors meet every Wednesday, all year long, at 9 a.m. and work to keep the trails clear, planting natives, and enjoying the outdoors. 

They will be having their annual kick-off breakfast meeting on April 13 at 9 a.m. at the Teaneck Creek Conservancy office at the Puffin Foundation, 20 Puffin Way in Teaneck, followed by a trail walk and an orientation of the Teaneck Creek Conservancy.
