Owner David Kaminsky, his voice filled with excitement, told Daily Voice on Thursday he plans an open house Monday Dec. 14, and to have “food all day” and specials on memberships and classes to mark the date.

"Club F.I.T has been my gym since I was 15," said township resident Cristina Cuduco, 22. "Some people think its small size to be detrimental, but it's cozy to me."

Club F.I.T., which stands for “fun, intense training” is at 401 Water St., next to Stop ‘n Shop. The gym is also registered as a participant in First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" campaign.

The nationwide initiative promotes physical and emotional health of younger generations.

The workout center is open from 4 a.m. to midnight daily.

Club F.I.T. offers classes in Pilates, Zumba, yoga and boot camp in addition to its weight room and cardio machines.

"I know most of the members — if not by name, then by face," Cuduco said. "The lack of pretentiousness makes it comforting."
