TEANECK, N.J. -- The community's help is needed for a Teaneck cleanup at the Mary S. Topolsky Garden and Trail on Saturday, Sept. 17.
The event is held by Friends of the Hackensack River Greenway through Teaneck Cleanup from 10 a.m.-noon.
Participants will be cutting back invasive vines and dead foliage at the Mary S. Topolsky Garden and Trail and its connecting trail in North Terhune Park.
People are asked to bring gloves, clippers, loppers and/or shovels.
Everyone will meet at the North Terhune Park sign at the entrance to the trail on River Road opposite Kipp Street.
There is street parking on Cadmus Court and Kipp Street.
Terhune Park is located in the southwestern quadrant of the township between the Hackensack River to the west and River Road to the east. The neighborhoods of Hillcrest Street, Center Place, Terhune Street and Oritani Place border the park to the east.
