The chamber partnered with Lillian Lee's Do Wonders Charity to provide wigs at no cost to women battling cancer who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford one.

The partnership was sparked at the third annual Ladies’ Night Out in June when the chamber committee voted to donate $500 of the proceeds that were raised that evening to Do Wonders Charity.

“When the committee first heard about Do Wonders, it was an easy decision for us to make,' said Chamber Vice President and event chair Jennifer Glass.

"We all know someone that battled cancer and saw the pain they went through when they lost their hair."

Salon owner Lee was thrilled and touched.

"It affirmed my belief in people that no matter how busy we get we all want to help," she said.

"For anyone that still wants to help, I’m always accepting donations of new or gently used wigs to offer to my clients in addition to tax-deductible monetary donations too.”
